1. What is your favorite travel destination?
Hawaii! I’m a sucker for beaches and Hawaii has some of the most beautiful in the world. The slow pace and kind people is always a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of my day to day.
2. What is your travel skincare routine?
I love doing a weeklong exfoliation followed by a hydrating mask (usually on Sunday evenings). It helps me relax, reset and get ready to start a new week!
3. When do you feel most comfortable in your skin?
It may sound strange, but when I’m on a plane venturing off on a solo trip to explore a new city I feel most myself. I have a passion for travel and crave new experiences and a good challenge and solo travel combines all that!
4. What is your favorite travel photo?
My own? Probably the one I took in the central square in Brussels. Not necessarily because of the photo, but because of what it took to capture it. I woke up before sunrise on my last day in Brussels and went to the square alone with my tripod. I used to feel so embarrassed being seen all dressed up in random places taking photos of myself, but that was the first time I shut out my insecurities (and funny stares from strangers) and got my shot!
5. Do you have any powerful women you view as role models?
I’m extremely close with one of our family friends. I think of her as a second mom! She’s such a fierce, successful, independent woman with the biggest heart. She reminds me to follow my passion and to never settle.
