For more than 20 years, she’s traveled the world delivering the best beauty secrets to your doorstep through her best selling book Passport To Beauty and her award winning formulations. No matter where she traveled, women everywhere shared the same beauty challenges and kept asking her the same questions: How do I save time, save space, and find products that actually work?
Ready Set Jet was born to answer that call. Powered by space-validated biotech and inspired by global rituals, Shalini was focused on formulating high-performing skincare and makeup designed to travel easy, protect and heal the skin, and solve the everyday issues women face—from aging and menopause to rosacea and sensitive skin to looking and feeling good anytime, anywhere.
But for Shalini, it wasn’t just about products—it was about purpose. Having started her entrepreneurial journey at 19 when her father handed her a plane ticket to India and $1000 to start her own business, Shalini faced little access to mentorship and resources, having to figure it out all on her own. She created Ready Set Jets Pass The Baton initiative to create level the playing field opportunities for women everywhere. With 90% of the company funded by women investors, Ready Set Jet is proof that when women back women, anything is possible. We believe in paying it forward—mentoring, resourcing, and empowering through our Pass The Baton events so every woman can shine, no matter her destination.

With 25+ years of experience, she’s led Ready Set Jet to become the first space-certified beauty brand in the world focusing on skin resilience and longevity in both anhydrous skincare and multi-tasking pigment rich color.
Shalini has created award winning brands sold in Sephora, QVC, HSN, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Victoria’s Secret, CVS, and Nykaa. She is the go-to formulator for Hollywood Studios like (Paramount Studios (Baywatch) retailers and celebs and can be seen sharing her knowledge on the Today Show, E!, The View, The Doctors, and The Early Show to name a few.
Shalini has been awarded the Mahatma Gandhi Award (UK House of Lords), Oprah Beauty O-Ward, Jewel of India Award (Prime Minister’s Office) and The One Space First In Space Award (Kennedy Space Center). She founded Power Beauty Living, a global women’s platform launching it on the floor of the United Nations in 2016.

Tony is a highly accomplished global media executive, including as the former host of NBC’s Access Hollywood, and an entrepreneur with building global content studios and award winning companies in entertainment, media, and venture capital.
Tony has commanded an audience of over 2.1 billion covering the Super Bowl, Olympics, Cannes Film Festival, Sundance, Tribeca, NBA All Star Games (yes he was the MVP!), and A-List global network.
After spending over 20 years under studio lights and in makeup chairs while interviewing some of the world’s most beautiful A-list stars, he knows firsthand how crazy travel schedules and harsh environments can take a toll on skin. Today, he brings that experience to RSJ—helping craft products and stories that are as high-performing and resilient as the people who use them
